Hacking Thinking about buying a Vita next paycheck. What to look out for?

Adrenaline is basically the PSP is which runs on the Vita, in comparison it's like vWii on a WiiU. And yes the Vita does have a emulator for GBA but the audio screws up alot and frame drops. Gbsp kai runs amazing tough as your use to on your go

I was planning on using it in PSP mode anyway so I could do a straight port from one system to another.

Then you'll be fine lol, all your .iso/CSO files eboots and homebrew should work fine ( exept deadelus's recent version that improves audio since the Vita doesn't emulate the audio engine)

Not knowing what deadelus is, I'm sure I'll be fine. Now just looking forward to pay day.

Ah. I kind of figured the PSP wasn't powerful enough to do a good N64 emulator so I just haven't done that.

It's surprisingly not bad, I just play without audio cause I have no choice.

Thanks. I actually did the same thing on PSP (though I did 5 on DS), I just picked a version and 100% them all.

Edit: Ok that looks sexy AF and only solidifies my decision to get a Vita further. The screen retains its full brightness, and as stated above is not scratched and is larger than the touch pad on my laptop.

I was actually doing a second part to 5 (Protoman, after Colonel) but something ****ed up my save. I'm not sure if I ever got it back. Time to check.

It just came in today. Sweet. Brand new, on 3.65. That 1Gb is going to make things difficult, so obviously I'll be getting that SD2Vita and shoving in a good 64-128. Anything else hard-ware wise I should get?

Also I saw a tutorial explaining some file changes on SD2Vita for use on PSVita and PSP games. Seems the configuration is different for those, am I going to have to modify a file every time I want to swap?

A good case I guess, I have the Hori Hard Pouch and really like it.

Do you mean swap between psp and vita games?
The sd2vita can act just the same as a normal vita memory card, so you can go between vita mode games/homebrew and adrenaline (PSP mode) without doing anything to the memory card (once you have adrenaline installed).

You'll set up the sd2vita to mount the microsd as UX0: (memory card). When you install adrenaline it will use the folder UX0:PSPEMU as the 'psp' memory card.
The PSP folder structure witin that folder is then the same as on a PSP with CFW, eg UX0:PSPEMU/ISO

Basically what he's saying is that no, once you have everything setup no swapping is needed. All you Vita and PSP stuff will run off the sd2vita, it's how I got mine drops
