Those are a pain in the ass. Apparently the tissues don't like water and try to get out as quickly as possible, which then leads to (depending on how many were in your pocket) a lot of time picking through however many clothes happened to be in there.... pulling off little bits of tissue. I have only done that once, it was a full travel pack... and it has not happened since.

Actually, i think THAT is what lead to me cleaning out my pockets every night... just so NOTHING goes through the wash.

Coins, chewing gum, some sheets of paper (back in the days when I used to do a lot of origami, I keep those things in my pocket), pens.

Oh, and an iPod. Specifically a 2nd gen shuffle. Can you blame me for it being so small? The funny thing is when I dropped it loads of times on the floor, it started to work. Recovering the firmware and other stuff didn't solve the problem. Just a simple drop. Weird.

Once the clothes are dry (bits that come off end up in the lint trap) you can just shake them off.

Lol. The most expensive thing I have ever left in the wash was my GBC when I was young.

    my ex's passport lmfao.

i only checked the front pockets but it was in the back... seriously who keeps their keeps their passport in the back pocket of their jeans (he blatantly forgot about it too because he had put his jeans in the washing basket).

other than that i generally just mix my colours, darks, whites, lights etc... and 50% of the time forget to put in a colour catcher, so that's ruined a few good tops.

LOL thats funny. Wife® and i never separate our clothes. The ONLY time that happens is when her "delicates" require it... and shes not a girly-girl, so thats RARE. That, and we're extremely lazy. [IMG] (and we have to go to a laundry-mat to do our clothes, so we like to spend as little as possible, and shove as much as we can into one machine heh)

"knock on wood" is popular in the US as well. "Touch wood" just sounds awesomer and sexualer. And yes, both of those are words. Now.

The only thing I've ever left in my pockets and it's got washed would be my wallet.
It survives each time, but my money does get pretty soggy (just kidding, my broke ass doesn't have any money...!).

My brother is awful at leaving things in his pockets and letting them go through the washer.
He's had at least two phones broken because he didn't take them out of his pocket and put the pants in the washer...

Left my 2gb Micro SD in its SD adapter and washed it in my pocket. Thankfully the micro stayed in the adapter and it still works like a dream. I've left money, notes, tissues, pens...not sure what else...myself?? yeah, once I stepped in the shower with my boxers still on...what a shower newb.
