Oh my god. English.

Affect and Effect are pronounced virtually the same in most dialects so we always speak it right but remembering which one to use is a pain
We have words spelled the same, pronounced the same, but mean different things
We have words spelled the same, pronounced differently, that mean different things
Some words defy what letters are supposed to sound like (Epitome, Colonel, Chaos...)
Stressed/Screeched are both one syllable and I don't really have a problem with that, it's just painful to accept that
I'm missing stuff. This language is flawed

Oh yeah don’t forget about queue, literally 4 of the 5 letters are silent.

I would say most of the languages have the same issue. In the end, it's all a matter of context, isn't it?

But there's always room for misinterpretations. hahaha
