Hacking Thief 2014 PS3 to Vita remote play L2 R2 buttons fix?

Hello,
I tried to remote play Thief (2014) from my CFW PS3 to my Vita and in terms of sound and video it works really well! — actually one of the games that works the best in my testings.
The only issue is i can't use the L2 and the R2 (Bows etc) buttons because the back touch screen on the Vita doesn't register the pressure of pressing of the original trigger buttons of the PS3.

Question is is there a way to patch this game's controls to work with the Vita?

I know that streaming from the PS4 works but the PS3 version has this issue.

I don't believe so.

Saw this awesome thing this guy made which basically is an add on for the vita to allow triggers to activate the backpad tho. wish a manufactuer would get it mainstream
