Hacking "Theres no DS card" after the update. Ds Lite

Guys a need some help. I use an Acekard 2i on my DS Lite for a while, but since i'll get a DSI XL this week i decided to update the firmware. The update processe went fine, no erros, no nothing, but after the update was completed my DS Lite no longer recognizes the Acerkard anymore, it gives the no DS card message. Did i screw up my card? Or only on the DSI Xl the card will apear now? I use the 1.4 update.
