I'm gonna have to wait for the pal version of this, as my TV won't do NTSC.

How do people still have non-60hz TV's in the UK??

A £50 tv from Tesco's would support 60hz... Do they still own TV's from when the C64 came out or something?

I gotta agree with that how old is your TV?

Although tbh I dont think my TV in my room fully supports 60hz it flickers quite alot but is unnoticable within a minute or two

60Hz and NTSC are different things on PAL TVs, although most TVs now support NTSC alot of older PAL60 sets don't.

QUOTE(Westside @ Oct 2 2006, 05:25 PM)So your saying that my NTSC TV that I bought a year ago will support PAL?
(having the 60hz thing)

PAL is 50Hz, you would have to check your manual to see if it is supported. Although there is a PAL60 option that is in a few games now and that is more likely to be supported.

my old familly TV works perfectly, as a new one didn't

The video is displayed correctly but in 60Hz it's very shifted up and left.
I can't see some vital info (as HP, or some text

)

I even tried my PS2 at the store to check wich TV would be working, but none was good enough
(or maybe I couldn't test long enough, the seller was a bit upset I didn't want them

Code:
FINAL FANTASY XII - SQUARE ENIX
USA NTSC PS2 DVD
65 X 50MB
RELEASE: 10/01/2006
RETAIL: 10/31/2006

THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION OF THE GAME.
(NOT A RETAIL PRESS THOUGH)

IT IS INTERNAL BECAUSE THE "SCENE" IS SO COOL
THAT A GROUP WILL DUPE WITH RETAIL AND CALL
IT A "PROPER" JUST CAUSE A COUPLE DATES &
BYTES MAY BE DIFFERENT. THEN AGAIN GROUPS
KNOW NOTHING OF HOW GAMES ARE MADE. THEY ARE
JUST THERE FOR THEIR SKILLED ISO RIPPING
SKILLZ. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE ANY SAVES,
CHEAT DEVICES, ETC. WITH THIS GAME BECAUSE
EVENTHOUGH RETAIL WILL HAVE MINOR FILE
DIFFERENCES, THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION
AND EXACT SAME GAME.

ENJOY THIS GAME A LITTLE LESS THAN A MONTH
BEFORE RETAIL.

PS3 ROCKS

how can a game be exactly the same if there could be files difference ?

nothing different in the dialogues and video, but could be some changes in the data loading routine or things like that ?

well, a group would eventually release retail copy early next month anyway. If they are kind enough (or even bother with it), they would probably tell us the differences between this copy and their copy on their .NFO.

If your TV supports PAL60, try to get an RGB cable, as it removes the PAL/NTSC color coding standart
My PS2 (EUR) outputs PAL as 50Hz, NTSC (not PAL60) as 60hz, my TV doesn't support NTSC (appears B&W with composite), but everything was alright when I recieve the RGB *_*

Not sure how old it is but it does have a scart lead. The colours not right on it anymore so I may get a new one sometimes. I might wait until the LCDs go down in price and get a good size. As well as being used for the ps2 the TV acts like a 2nd tv. With having a lcd HDTV I can't go back to a normal TV set. The HDTV does support NTSC but the PS2 isn't 1337 enough to be connected up to it.

Oooh, I know what I'm downloading tonight

I got the Special Edition on pre-order, so I got no conscience nagging me for doing this

I've finished two games before actually buying them. The game I REALLY want I buy, those I'm unsure of it I copy first, simple as that.

I'll just be glad to play a few weeks before the actual release
