The World Ends With You anime to premiere this April, gets new teaser trailer

After having been announced last year and teased for a 2021 release, Square Enix's The World Ends With You's anime adaptation has locked in its initial air date. A new trailer, which features the show's opening, reveals that The World Ends With You: The Animation will premiere on April 9th in Japan, with a special broadcast airing a week before in order to generate hype leading up to the premiere. For Western fans, Funimation will be officially hosting the anime and providing subtitles on its platform.

I tried getting into the game twice on DS, and I really want to like it... But it's confusing, it takes FOREVER to get into any actual gameplay, (typical Squeenix fashion), and it was just kinda boring to read through. Maybe I should give it another chance with the Switch version, but I don't have high hopes.

I never got very far in the game since I'm left-handed and it was basically unplayable, this looks pretty cool though! I'm definitely digging the music and always thought this game's style was neat
I'm left handed, o-o I beat it pretty well.

Ah good, they're keeping it still very faithful to the in-game art/character designs. Better effort than most companies who can't fuckin' help but make every anime the same fucking character designs as their other animes rather than make diff art styles..
