Were you excited about the wireless NES controllers that Nintendo announced in their latest Direct? Are you already hyped to play retro indies with them? Well, you might be disappointed to hear that they can only be bought by people with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription and that they can only be used to play the NES games that come with it. I guess if you want to cancel your subscription (or when the online services eventually go offline forever for the console), these will just become paperweights...

    Way to go, Nintendo.

    Somewhere, over there!
Hm, well if this holds to be true? 8BitDo has a solid selection of controllers that work well on the Switch.
