IF YOU'VE GOT TO FIGHT - FIGHT DIRTY!

The Street Fighter (Gekitotsu! Satsujin Ken, The Street Fighter?), literally Clash, Killer Fist!, is a Japanese martial arts film released in 1974 and produced by Toei Company Ltd.

And now, not only is The Street Fighter, but also Return of The Street Fighter and Sister Street Fighter available to watch on the Nintendo DS.

But, be warned, The Street Fighter is not like the video game series, it's a hard core martial arts extravaganza. Hardcore? How so I bet your thinking. Well, here's a little quip about the history of The Street Fighter:

"The film is well known for its extreme and graphic violent content. The Street Fighter was the first film to receive an X rating solely for violence. The film was especially controversial because of a scene in which Tsurugi castrates a rapist with his bare hands; it is this scene (among others) that reputedly gained the film its 'X' rating."
