Geez, how many expansions are they going to release for this game? My sister loves this game so I keep getting the expansion for her but this is just getting out of hand.

I sure hope I never have to wipe the harddrive and do a fresh install of Windows. I do NOT want to install all of this at once.

Anyone else have to deal with all these expansions?

Buy your sister a dedicated Sims 2 harddrive.

even better build your sister a dedicated sims 2 box and shell windows so that when she logs in it starts sims 2 straight away

I had to intall all them at once for a friend of mine and for my gf, so i think i never wanna hear about Sims2 again, in a good time period :\

There are A LOT of expansions. and it gets even more crazy if you have a lot of custom content! and there's plenty more full expansions on the way... just take a look at the sims 1!

a dedicated sims pc that loads straight to the sims would be my idea of heaven =D im totally in love with the sims hehe. i installed all but bon voyage (wasnt out then) on my sisters PC and it didn't take too long but yeah at one point i had like 20 gigs of sims 2 stuff and the game would just lag sooo much. actually even without custom content its lagging like hell at the moment, soooo need to update, stupid g force fx5200 pos!

oh yeah you call that lag? I ran SIMS 1 on a 4mb videocard, pentium 1 133mhz and like 8mb of memory. Now that was lag
