Recently (september?) Nintendo changed screen manufacturers from Sharp to Samsung. I experienced this myself because I had a launch day Japanese DS lite with a still, non-ghosting image (must be Sharp), and a last-month US DS Lite with a flickering, ghosting screen (must be Samsung).

Thing is that I also heard Sony's doing the same thing, with a little twist. They only offer Sharp screens to the Japanese market, selling the rest of the world Samsung screens in their PSP's. Reports of this stem from the 'Phat' era, so my question is: is the PSP Slim & Lite still plagued with inferior Samsung screens, or is the quality better than old PSP's? E.g. no flickering/ghosting.

Experiences that may shed some light on this are appreciated
