I thought the video was made very well. It's easy to understand.. and for those who don't understand, I have no comment. It's also not cliche from the way it was presented.

I saw this well over a year ago and it gets me every time I watch it.
A good video with a good message and a perfect execution.

The message of the video was cool. But the music wow... I have seen 5 year olds that could have done better.

As soon as I saw the title I figured the video in question must be "Kiwi!"
Thanks for sharing the original version.

(I personally prefer the Mad World version, though.)

I really liked that video. However I don't get the message of it. Could someone explain... (I have never been very good at figuring out messages.)
the bird couldn't fly, so he nailed all the trees to the edge of the cliff, so he could pretend he's flying (and died living his dream)

Are you serious?
It's a Kiwi that worked his entire life to build a dream. Kiwi's are a type of bird that can not fly, he build the trees along the cliff's edge to simulate landscape, and by jumping off the cliff, it would feel as if he was flying and he would of course die in the end. He worked his ass off for a dream that only lasted a moment... it's showing dedication.

The point is that the Kiwi wants to fly, and will go to any lengths, and even pay with his life, to be able, just once, to live his dream, even if it's just an illusion of flight. "This is the happiest day of my life" meets "now I can die happy".
Although I'm not sure if there's any actual message behind that.

Yeah that bird was stupid, I laugh REALLY hard when he fell down and died. Trust me DREAMS are nothing but a shatter mirror with fragment memories of failure and defeat!

The kiwi crying before he died meant "I finally experienced what I wanted to experience." That got into me.

How about a happier ending where the kiwi lands on something soft/bouncy? (i.e. a trampoline, a really thick soft mattress) That way, it would be "Now I lived my dream, I got to tell everyone!"
