I ordered my Revo unit exactly three months ago today. The site said "In stock" When I ordered, and I have contacted then three times sense. The first time they replied with "Please be patient, we will send it within the next few days with a shipping notice". SO I waited a month. Contacted again and got the same reply.

I contacted them two days ago with a slightly rude attitude telling them to once again please get back to me with an actual shipping date OR to please refund me money, and that I was going to avoid complaining in public (like this) or contacting my bank if they did soon.

To much my surprise I had no reply, Should I be contacting my bank for a refund and reporting the site? Or is there a way to actually get my product from these people?

Alright, sounds about right honestly. I was looking forward to the system, but this is silly. I'll be contacting my bank tomorrow unless someone else has any alternative.

Yeah I'd contact your bank, this is why I hate buying stuff from websites that don't use Paypal, its a mess when something goes wrong.

Okidok. I just figured sense it was so vibrantly advertised on the front page of gbatemp that it was a legit site. :\

all of china is on a huge vacation now for the new year. you won't get a reply from the k1 supplier until next week, i believe.

they are a 100% legit company. many people have received their orders. the first set of units had extra flax which caused an issue related to charging and gaming at the same time. then the save bug popped up. they took extra time to address these problems and i am sure that has slowed down production, testing, and distribution.

i can understand the feeling connected to waiting for a chinese product to ship. i once spent 8 months trying to get a refund from deal extreme, so in some ways, i can relate. reporting them is only going to hurt the product and its future. please, if you would, wait for the chinese new year to end and then try to get back in contact with them.

i am going to send an email to their head of marketing right now and link him back to your forum post.

i sent him a PM and an e-mail. i really hope it helps.

i have dealt with their head of marketing and the guys behind the technology. all of them are really great people. they are trying to run a legit company and produce a product that consumers will be happy about. i'm sure your problem is just an oversight. from what i can tell their shipping department is run by 1 or 2 people. emails get lost, stuff gets misplaced, all the time with these "indy" devices. unlike the dingoo or similar handhelds, there is no huge company behind this one. its a few guys with some know-how and the dream to make it happen.

Sounds like what I figured they were, thus why I put up with several months. Then after no replies I got a bit paranoid. I will take your word on this one and keep good thoughts in my mind, thanks again. Will wait patiently.

They got back to me with a refund notice. Guessing they didn't have any more units. Would have enjoyed the system too, although I do own an SP. Guess Ill go pickup another ocarina from songbird.

aside from the save bug, which seems to delete saves no matter what you do, it is a great system. i would hold onto that money and try again once they get that bug ironed out.

They seem to have still not stocked the system at all. I would more than happily purchase one of these once this is not a "pre-order". Until then I shall be waiting and using my SP until then.

Why would you even need one if you already have an SP? Just grab an EZ Flash IV, and you're good to go.
