After shutting down so many ROM sites now Nintendo can't download their own games anymore

I know that they're well within their rights to protect their IP, I get that. But the fact they are more and more removing means of avenues to get games without legal means is just stupid. Glad I downloaded the entire Snes and NES ROM sets. I'll proceed to get the N64, GBA, and any others just to spite Nintendo.
