    I think that taking the name of a popular existing product and adding a few letters, thus deceiving those who bought it into thinking that they bought something associated with THE real r4, when in fact it is not, fits the english definition of fake.

    Also: What made the R4 the most popular flashcart?

    I think the idea is that R4's can still be used and are still supported. I asked a local retailer today about why they were still carrying R4's and he basically told me the fakes are well supported enough to compete with the likes of original cards like the m3, cyclo, dstt...etc.

    personally, I would prefer these copy companies to come up with a new name and sell a card on that brand alone. If it is truly a good card, gamers will notice in the long run (hell, it would be noticed in these forums in like a week) and appreciate the card for what it is.

    I don't really see why anyone is surprised, its was only inevitable that someone would pirate such a popular pirating device, now isn't it?
