The original English voice actress of Misty and Jessie have passed away at age 46

Just read that the original voice actress of Jessie and Misty, Rachel Lillis ,have sadly passed away.

She had been battling beast cancer, and sadly didn't make it. She was diagnosed with it in May this year.

This hurts. I absolutely watched some early Pokemon episodes, and the whole Pokemon craze had my attention. She did great work on the series, and she'll be remembered by many.

It's becoming common for people to be diagnosed in their 40's, and I feel like more people are passing very early in life. Remember to go to the doctor regularly and report anything you find suspicious.
