The next Uncharted game is a... card game?

Sony and Naughty Dog's franchise Uncharted has seen quite a bit of mileage since its start in 2007. With three popular main series entries, a pinball table, a Playstation Vita spin off, and a few appearances of protagonist Nathan Drake here and there, the franchise has been around the block. The Australian Classifications Board accidentally outed Uncharted: Fight for Fortune. This revelation was retweeted by GameSpot, which got retweeted by Sony executive Shuhei Yoshida, essentially confirming the game.

Users from NeoGAF dug deeper into it and found the game to be listed as a "casino/card" game. This could mean anything from an Uncharted poker game to an Uncharted card game. The game is also listed singularly for the Playstation Vita, meaning another exclusive entry for the franchise on the device. The game is also in development by One Loop Games, which made Ratchet and Clank: Go Mobile and God of War: Betrayal for mobile devices.

No other info was released or leaked, but keep an eye out for an official announcement from Sony.

Anyone else hoping this is like Metal Gear Acid? Well a improved Metal Gear Acid since there were problems with both entries. Then again it wasn't really a card game, more of a turn based strategy game.

Metal Gear Acid was... something. Card game could describe it, but so could about a bagillion other things.

Personally I'm guessing it'll be some digitally downloadable card game based on Uncharted. Which can be either cool or dismal. Card games are terribly hard to design so if they do it well then kudos. But most likely it won't be stellar honestly.

Well it's unknown what it'll be, casino/card is a broad classification. It can mean a casino game, solitaire, or TCG for all we know.

This isn't being made by Naughty Dog though. One Loop Games doesn't have the best reputation and all their console games are medicore.

If it's something ridiculous that Sony thinks is cool for some odd reason, I'd be inclined to take it as fact. lol
I don't hate Sony, I love my PS3 in fact. They're just so amusing. If they would lower vita pricing a bit and get someone new in charge of advertising, marketing and knows how to generate hype for the RIGHT thing, they may just be less laughable.
I was basically just poking a little fun anyway.
