The next project from Bloodborne PSX demake creator is Bloodborne Kart
After releasing a PS1-style demake of Bloodborne in February, developer Lilith Walther has revealed their next project: Bloodborne Kart. Initially announced as an April Fool's joke last year, the project now appears to be a real undertaking. as Walther Tweeted out this morning "It's happening, Bloodborne Kart is real and will be coming out as soon as it's ready!" and also said they considered making the announcement on April 1st, "but no one would have ever believed that it was real."
While there weren't many details on what the content the game will have, the April Fool's thread from last year shows some demo gameplay with a playable Hunter, Cleric Beast, Werewolf and Troll, so it's possible we'll see those characters returning for the full release. Walther also shared the title screen music, which cleverly combines the kind of music you'd hear in a standard Kart racer with Bloodborne's more somber and ominous mood.
Bloodborne Kart will be coming "as soon as it's ready."
