So today they revealed the game at IGN:

I suggest you read most of the interview, the concept of the game sounds REALLY innovative, and it'll be interesting to see how they manage to get every item to be recognized by the system..

Some pictures : (Note that this game comes out in Q4 2009.. So it will most likely change a bit with time)

And then there's the early trailer:

Overall, I'm hyped for this game, it looks awesome.

My point is that there is already a discussion topic, this one doesn't need to exist.

Well that's a dumb point, why would there be just one topic in the entire forum? Shouldn't people be able to discuss it on this one?

    It's a perfectly viable point.

Look at it this way; if a new piece of software came out and people wanted to discuss it, would they want to try and discuss it in five different topics, or would it not make more sense to have one topic and everyone discuss it who wishes to discuss it. I don't think we need to bump this one up anymore, we've already got a perfectly good discussion running.

Although done in a rude way, Hanckchill has a point. We prefer to just have one topic for a certain subject here.
