Hardware The N64 controller works to play Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

I didn't think this would work because I can't get any other controller with just one analog stick to work with SSBU but using an N64 controller works perfectly. I actually prefer it to the GameCube controller.



In case you don't want to watch the video, I used an 8bitdo and Raphnet adapter. I hope someone else tries this and likes it!

I tried this the other day via the official GameCube controller adapter to Raphnet's (!) N64 to GCN but it looks like I'll be needing the v2 of that. Given how many digital actions are mapped to analog controls, I could see this being a great way to play if the input lag holds up. The good news is that people have been finding that the USB adapter is yielding the quickest results, and RNT's are designed for lowest possible latency.

My switch isn't recognizing the C Buttons like it used to anymore. THe left C and Up C are being recognized as X and Y. It's annoying...does anyone know how to fix the issue?

Hold L+R+D+Up to reset it to configuration 0.
