It's a taco, because you put a weiner inside. But don't forget the condiment.

Let’s not defile the glory of tacos while comparing them to hot dogs :(
Have you ever had a good hot dog though? Certain a bad taco is a truly joy crushing article where a bad hot dog is still something resembling sustenance.

Indeed it we are allowed to twist it a bit a proper banger wrapped in a bit of bread, fried egg on top, fried onions in the mix and some decent sauce is a wondrous creation that most tacos can only aspire to imitate (though probably still short of a proper taco, be it fish or proper.

I am probably white as the driven snow and the only times tacos give me the squirts is when they have tomatoes in, which is what happens when I eat tomatoes and tomato products in any form.

I will give that I have been trained on proper curry since before I was born probably (you are what your mother, and possibly grandmother, ate after all) so maybe I have some options afforded me there but that does rather go against your narrative.

Looks like a sausage sandwich to me.

Sadly they ruined it by putting tastes of yellow (some erroneously lump it in with mustard) on it. The better versions come with a fried egg, and those fried onions* probably want a bit longer as well -- some dishes call for lightly sweated onions but burgers and sausage based affairs do far better for the edges being crispy (if not further still).

*cautionary tale to US visitors that are more used to other places. When they ask do you want onions on your burger you are not likely to get the fried variety as much as raw (chopped or straight sliced).
