Just wanted to say that this is amazing, I never thought I'd see this happen, especially on a DSlite. For me, a DSi XL might be the perfect handheld.

I'm almost done with my rewrite to asm, only sound still left, everything else is rewritten in asm (might still be some optimizations though). Save states might work, please test, as usual they will not be compatible with new versions.
Rotation should work automatically if the rom header is set correctly.
I hope I haven't broken any games, but if that is the case I will be able to fix them easily.

Thanks FluBBa for this new update. Working full speed on 3DS/DSi it seems !

However, there is something weird with some games (already there with previous versions). If you play TOKI, the game is slow compared to the original even if the debug menu shows full FPS. I think it is the same for Switchblade II and maybe others. Any idea ?

Hi @FluBBa , Hi @CrashMidnick

Hope you're well friends :)

I don't know if it's really a good baseline for a comparison (because I don't have real hardware on hand to do the test) but on N3DS comparing Toki on HandyDS (retroarch core) and Toki on LodjurDS via TWL++, I don't really have the impression that it is slower, on the other hand, by adjusting the speed to max in the parameters, I actually have the impression that the game gains in fluidity.

Very well mate, thanks :)

Yes, by increasing the SPEED mode you can reach what we would expect in terms of speed for TOKI. But I think it is more a "trick" than normal behaviour of the emulator. All games should play the right way with "normal speed" I think. TOKI is definitely slow with this mode, we should replace the monkey by a snail :rofl2:
