The Legend of Zelda Wii U Game Rumored to Have Choice Between Male and Female Characters

    According to video game reporter Emily Rogers, the upcoming Wii U game will allow the player to choose the main character's gender. It will also include voice acting for many characters, Rogers said.

    I saw this on my Facebook trending feed thingy...again it is only a rumor, but what do you all think about this?

    With the inception of the character "Linkle" in Hyrule Warriors, this wouldn't surprise me all that much.

    What I think would be really cool is if the game was a direct sequel to Skyward Sword and your player is a direct descendent of the first Link and Zelda, and in that process they can explain how Zelda got trapped in an eternal sleep until Zelda II. With a name like "Fields of Dawn" (the rumored name of the game), that general plot could make sense
