The difference between gamecube and wii version is that the world is mirrored (I have read Link is right-handed in the wii version and left-handed in the gamecube version) and the control. Anything else is the same.

The Wii version was mirrored so that Link was right-handed, because most people are. The worlds and dungeons were mirrored, too. Basically, everything's mirrored.

I would still suggest the GC version. It's just more convenient for certain tasks. And it's cheaper!

So if there just mirrored then couldn't u use the Twilight Hack method using the Gamecube version? Also when r they gonna drop the prices on old (2007/2008) Wii games??

Sorry, this will not work. The GC version does its saves to a GC memory card, and I think in addition the GC mode is quite a bit different to the Wii's normal operating mode so that the exploit will not work.

Try to look for a cheap Wii version on the internet.

Technically, I believe that a GameCube version of the Twilight Hack could be created. I remember that Nuke, the creator of the USB Gecko, was going to make one. However, it was never released.

Also, I remember that when the exploit was first found, some of the images shown were from the GameCube version of Twilight Princess...

That was mainly because the GC was already hacked and because of that it was easier to find an exploit in that version, and then check if it also worked on the Wii version.

Along with Midna's eye patch being on the other side in the Wii version.

I honestly recommend the Wii version. It doesn't matter what version you go for, you're getting the exact same game in either.
