There really isnt a better way to start this thread but yes, I'm about to ask the question...

"Who legally owns Pedobear and Trollface?"

I'm working on a development project and I want to do a few cameos but the last thing I want to do is step on legal toes which is why I'm creating this thread. I don't think that most people take the time to ask their selves if they are infringing on someone's copyright, when using a meme. Granted to even think about that seems silly when you consider the nature of a meme. OK I'm done. Everyone, feel free to chime in on this.

I think they are in the public domain and I doubt if someone even owned "pedobear" they would even bother with copyright infringement

I can't see anyone wanting to take credit for legally owning something like Pedobear (if anyone does own it at all).
