    Hello,
I have not been following the scene lately. The last time I checked, the R4i Gold V1.4 with the supermario picture on the front worked on all DSi's. Have they come out with a firmware that defeats R4i Gold v1.4 ? or it still works on all firmwares of DSi ?

The DSi is still on firmware 1.4, it has been for a long time.
Still, there are other flashcarts that are much better than the R4i, or any other of the fake R4 clones.

Get something like an Acekard 2i or Supercard DStwo, so much better.

R4i, who'd want that cheap clone? To answer your question, if it worked on 1.4 then it still works. But you should really buy a new card.

R4igold still works on all the firmware of Dsi but now as R4igold clone are available , it will be great to use that only as it won't cost you much as the original one.
