Despite pivotal events of The Last of Us Part II leaked recently, Naughty Dog is building anticipation around the game prior to its release with a brand-new story trailer. The new footage sets the dark and gritty atmosphere of the sequel which follows a grown-up Ellie's quest for revenge:

After a vicious and violent event disrupts the relative peace that Ellie has found in Jackson, she sets out to bring justice to those responsible. As she hunts them down one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

The Last of Us Part II launches exclusively on the PS4 on June 19th, 2020.

@DANTENDO I still have the game on PS3 on the disk I havent played TLOU in maybe 5 years its on my backlog list along with RE4 HD I'm cheap lol I rarely spend $60 on games anymore after getting burned by the NFS remake on PS4. Maybe GTA6 or Raging Blast 3 (only a guy can dream) I will buy day 1

@GoldenBullet Well Beyond 2 Souls was the first movie game I played I liked the game too it was a good story but for TLOU it is alot more action since parts of the game you get to do things and etc.. I'm like 8 hours in in the TLOU I'm maybe on chapter 5 or 7 i dont remember that well. I do like the game alot. If you compare it to like Dead Space or Resident Evil the cut scenes are there but not as long.

@Genaz I'm more of a Resident Evil guy. I'm defiantly going to get TLOU2 but not for $60 I'm trying to buy FF7 Remake , RE3 , TLOU2, "maybe the NEW AC game" for under $150 blackfriday

It's weird. I have never had leaks turn me off from a game before. But dear lord, I have zero interest in this game now.

Back on topic, this just adds more salt to the wound, it confirms that this ended to be just an entire movie about an immature teenager seeking revenge killing everyone because wman are strong too. Oh, and funny how zombies never got an appearance in the trailer lol. Tf are they thinking?

This is the strangest part of the whole game for me. I haven't heard shit about the zombies like, AT ALL. Wasn't the creepy factor that the zombies were based on an actual fungus that exists as opposed to some cheese-ball made up virus like the T-Virus in the RE series?

I have seen several posts from you across the forums and I see that many are Sony haters in your head just because they don't agree on something that you do. Being a fanboy doesn't pay mate, people have the right to think diferently than others and that's ok and many times can be peacefully debateable, just don't bash them with baseless congetures and empty words that only make sense in your head, it is unhealthy, take this as a constructive criticsm, no ofense intended.

I did not troll anyone, I said, "I will wait until, last of us part 2" is in the bargain bin or bucket. Before I will buy it. I wouldn't give it full price. Yes I own ps1,ps2.ps3.ps4. Never had xbox,xbox 360, xbox one. So trolling, not in my book sorry. Just my opinion. The trailer looks amazing that's about it. But they hid Abby, from the trailer I wonder why?

Saying that the game is not worth it because of the story is not trolling, its legitimate criticism levied on the game because of how it fails to deliver the same quality of narrative as the first game, especially when it's supposed to be seen as a cinematic production of sorts.
