Also, DANTENDO's deleted post does have a reason: "Baiting, I told you to stop it". Except that removed posts don't ding the Alert bell, so "telling [someone] to stop it" by removing the post doesn't exactly work, D'oh!Scene.

Lots of mods have this policy. I don't like it either (IMO it gets dangerously close to censorship, of course this isn't a government institution (nor a publicly funded entity), so right to free speech doesn't exactly apply on a privately owned video game forum), but those are the rules right now. It's probably, like the baiting being removed, to stop the thread from derailing and become an absolute shit show. If you want to write a post about your opinion on the fate of a certain lead character in the
blog section and mark it as spoilers (also use the spoiler tag to be safe), I'm sure nothing will happen. I'm 99.9% sure that it's just to stop people from spoiling the game for people who want to play it without knowing every detail. Oh, and Sony and Naughty Dog are having Tweets and YouTube videos criticizing the game removed, so it really does cover the sites ass.
As for the baiting post, said user almost always posts inflammatory stuff designed to get people arguing. All it does is clog up the threads. It's not engaging in any sort of meaningful discussion, it's basically blind fanboying and bothering people who don't agree with you.
