I have succesfully installed Luma CFW on a n3dsx and a n2dsxl before, but when I was doing the final set up on another n3dxl and a 2dsxl, K can't get the homebrew launcher to load initially (I'm following 3ds.guide, and doing exactly what i did the previous times)

Try to inject it to the Download Play app.(If you injected to an another app.) Sometimes some apps like H&S can cause issues.

I got it to work, I think my boot.3dsx was corrupted or something, because when I put the boot.3dsx from one of my previously hacked 3ds and it worked fine

Before you finalize giving your seal of approval to whatever new system(s)? you've just hacked, did you checked beforehand their SD cards with H2testw?

It is suspicion for the boot.3dsx to unexpectedly corrupt itself. You should copy everything off the cards, reformat them again in FAT32 and 32 KB, and run Full Write + Verify tests to ensure SD hardware(s) are safe and sound.
