Since I've contributed several graphics, coding, and development testing to the Wii (see here & here) and Wii U Scenes (see here), I thought I'd tinker with some concept graphics for the Switch.

They’re nothing special, but they’re formatted to 16:9 (1920x1080) aspect ratio, to work with the Switch's full output resolution. I would assume and speculate that it can easily be modified for use on the integrated display, as well.

When/If "The Homebrew Launcher" for Switch ever comes to fruition, I'd be happy to allow the developers to use this and/or other concept graphics of mine in their work.

Am i the only one who thinks that red and white related to Switch more than Wii/WiiU blue
Done.

Same, I want the same design as 3DS but in Red/White.
I don't own a 3DS. What does it's HBL graphic look like?

Take the bright red one and give it a flat background rather than gradient and it'll be perfect I think. You should also make a 1:1 version for the icon
I have a few other creative design element designs I’ve been brainstorming, including an icon, but I’m still working on them. A couple of them are drastic changes from what we commonly recognize, but I have no issues posting them, when they’re ready.

They look really nice; however, personally, I want something new. We've stuck with the same logo for a long time, or what feels like it. The same bubbly backgrounds. We need something new.

Don't get me wrong, they look fantastic and if we don't get something new I want these.

I can't believe you got me with that

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    That sounds really cool

I know the basics but no strategy at all
