Hacking 'THE HARDWARE IS NOT COMPATIBLE' R4DS

Hey, I just got my R4ds, and it worked fine for the first couple of tries. Then all of a sudden the message "THE HARDWARE IS NOT COMPATIBLE" showed up.

I've tried reformatting the microSD card, deleting everything and starting over, downloading the English, French, Korean, and Chinese Kernels off the website and trying them each separately, and using all of the system kernels off of the CD that came with it.

I've taken the cartridge out and put it back in and out but still to no avail.

WHAT DO I DO? any help would be great.

I just bought the r4 for my nintendo DS lite. And face the same problem mention above.

The error message: hardware incompatible occur after save the system file.

Finally, i found that the error is due to the language version of your system file. which mean, you need to download the Version 1.11 (english) to your TF card.

This will solved the problem.

But obviously you have already tried it =P

Wild guess, but maybe one of the connections that tells the cart which cart it is broke, and now you've got an M3 Simply.
