UK news outlet, The Guardian, has given L.A. Noire a perfect score. The Guardian praised the game's 'MotionScan Technology' which supposedly keeps the player immersed from beginning to end. Where games typically break that suspension of disbelief with “unrealistic animation, clunky dialogue, poor virtual camerawork, or facial characterization,” L.A. Noire expertly utilizes all of those storyline essentials. Unfortunately, for those interested in reading The Guardian’s complete review, it has since been taken down as a result of the news outlet breaking embargo. L.A. Noire is one of 2011's most anticipated games and comes out on the 17th of May.[/p]

Interesting, you know I love this sort of scenario, maybe this is the soft of game I should get for my 360?
It's just sitting there and I never play anything on it, nary a retail disc on my shelf.

Why is this news? It's a review for a game... nothing really spectacular. If you were to put reviews for games here, this place would be crowded

I know I'll be buying. I wish there were a PC version though, so I could just pirate it. :/

Yes, but this is L.A. Noire specifically, a notable game.

I rarely place much stock in newspaper reviews but I might take a look at that leaked version now (I was willing to wait before).

I doubt anyone gives a fuck about some newspaper review.

well if its gonna be for the PC version then the animations and stuff will take huge amounts of HD space so pirates rather free some space or get the RIP. Who knew realistic animations would cause so much win in a game?

I want to play it, but for some reason Rockstar are asshats and didn't make it for the superior platform...

The Guardian give the game a perfect score. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail blame it for all the evils of the world.
