First of all the great flood is recorded in many culture and religions. Greek for example blame it on Zeus so it's not just Christians.
Second there are a few discoveries that more ancient recording have nothing about the moon, as if the moon don't exist at their time.
When the moon gets introduced into Earth's orbit the relatively sudden appearence of such body is more than enough to cause Tidal wave capable of moving continents.(Until it gets rearranged into the shape today and the waves dies down) Of course there is no good evidence of such major geological shift. And the sheer size of the moon suggest direct collision is likely to cause both planets to shatter instead of bouncing back.

Do you mean rotation vs. revolution?
Yes. There is also the thing with the Moon having a really odd spin that allow it to remain at one face against earth (more of a myth at this point).
Edit: The second half is bs. Forget the moon's image isn't always round.

Maybe nothing is as it seems? Too bad Tronald Dump has no plans to further our understanding of anything in outer space because his ego is trying to get there first.

I won't say speak that Negatively about Trump. There are evidence that Hiliary masterminded various wars in Middle East that turned the region into its current shitty state (Of course there is cold war, but the existence of ISIS is directly tied to her). Before ww1 middle east is arguably more powerful than Europe.
Sustainable Economy is always a top priority, even if I think everyone should be too critical to the level of non-functional society.

I think everyone has their own agenda, usually to gain power at the expense of others, but people are pretty focused on what they have and what they can get. A functional society is second to, "I've got mine, fuck you."

Good news on the flood--a couple more years and we can all have beachfront properties.

The great flood thing is all over. Babylonians had their own version in the epic of Gilgamesh which pretty much tied directly into the christian account iirc (or it was extremely similar, I can't remember as it's been a while since I've read it) and the indians had one too, but much different.

Not the religious implication, but how it happens. My guess is moon going into orbit.

Oh, ok. I was just sharing that the flood story was in even more different stories and religions than you mentioned. So your hypothesizing that the moon came into orbit of the earth one day and caused massive tides that caused a flood that could cause continents shifting?

That is my theory, though the continent shift is an after thought. In Chinese lore, we dig tunnels to divert the flood, yet the region with the majority of population is mostly plain, which the phenomenon feels more like something hit the Indian ocean, but there is less proof with that and if the moon collide with the earth both body will shatter.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Well I know the water level is influenced by the moon, so that could make sense I guess.
Could the continents be different somehow just tens of thousands years back? How did the earth catch something as massive as the moon?
Edit 2: Plato actually insisted Atlantis exist. But he was insane of course.

For me if you want to emulate the DS the best option is on Android, use DraStic and a controller that holds your phone... it's clunky but it works insanely well. The next best option in my opinion is using a New 3DS XL, not really emulation but hacked it works really well.
