It's almost the end of the year, which means it's time for not only the holidays, but also for yet another year of The Game Awards. Just as every event before it, Geoff Keighly will take to the stage in order to host a recap of the biggest and best that gaming had to offer for 2019. In between awarding different genres of games, we'll get to see brand new game reveals throughout the show, to keep viewers interested. We know for certain, after this week's State of Play stream, that Sony's Ghost of Tsushima will be making an appearance, while rampant rumors claim everything from a new Metroid reveal, to a Tony Hawk Pro Skater remaster, or even a new Batman: Arkham game. Regardless, we'll get to see the ten planned reveals when the show kicks off later tonight in less than an hour, at 7:30 CT.

Sekiro is the only game on the list I haven't heard of before.

Has Microsoft not seen a living room before? Or are they getting into a furniture business and this is a ploy to get people to buy a proprietary TV cabinet because literally no TV cabinet currently on the market is designed for this abomination.

As hype as I am for Bravely Default 2, I'm genuinely curious where it fits in the current timeline/world considering how its named. Bravely Second is already a continuation of the events of the original Bravely Default, so I have no idea where the story fits in here. As nice as the new characters look, I'm going to sorely miss Edea being part of the main cast.

I legitimately never thought I would see the Wolf Among Us 2 see the light of day and I'm beyond ecstatic that it's actually happening.

One final thought: I'm glad that Sekiro won GOTY over Death Stranding. Not saying that Death Stranding wasn't a viable contender for the title, but I was honestly kind of upset seeing it more or less sweep the other categories it was nominated for.

Edit: still rolling that Jump Force got nominated for Best Fighting Game rofl

I'm actually kinda exited for the game Amazon has shown us getting in to the gaming business. Game looked a million times more interesting despite being an MMO compared to the ps5 game trailer we got

Its aping final fantasy, good chance there's zero connection between stories in numbered sequels.

Think of Second like X-2.
