As on portability, I don't really care. I never dared to put any system in my pocket after my gameboy and all of them had pouches + crystal cases, placed in carrier bags.

People just don't like some things and want to back up their opinion.
But the only thing is, the things they say to back their opinions up can be pretty terrible, everyone else is just trolling (ie. Me)
Anyway the Vita honestly looks as if it will be perfectly fine to fit in your pocket.
Nintendo Haters say that the Slider Pad attachment wont be portable, Sony Haters say that the Vita won't be portable, well people can see them as right and wrong, but really they are just wrong cause they are spewing out non-sense just cause they dislike the system.

I think the only safe way to pocket the Vita without worrying about the dual analogs breaking is to put it in a case before pocketing it. The cases that Sony have revealed don't look very bulky so they shouldn't take up too much more space.
