After listening to you do that political test thingy I feel there is now a huge elephant in the room after hearing one of your answers @AlanJohn. I'm actually rather disappointed in your answer but here is not the place to address the issue so all I will say is it's not a mental disorder and leave it at that.

I agreed to the fact that it needs more research and financing. Not against people being whatever gender they are, but making it illegal to mislabel a person's gender isn't a solution. Waste of time and resources. That's my opinion, and I understand if people disagree with it, since I am of no position to comprehend the discrimination one would face.

I didn't put the mental disorder definition in the question, so it's not like I personally believe every person who doubts their sex is psychologically ill.

Other than a straight up "yes", and 2 "no"- type-stances, this answer fit most for me, without spending an hour writing my own stance.

I'm not having a go at your opinion as such and I sure has hell know that in no way did you mean any offence. But when every single transphobic person in the world uses the Oh it's a mental disorder bullshit to try and justify their ways it gets tiresome to hear.

What people don't understand is the whole process in actually transitioning. Sure it may be different round the world but its mostly follows the same process that we have in Scotland which is.

Two years and sometimes more of evaluation and various tests by a psychiatrist to check you don't have a mental illness. Once he is convinced you then have to face a panel of anothe 5 psychiatrists and you only get 3 hours to convince all 5 that you don't have any mental illnesses. Pass then its still not over as more tests are done by the first psychiatrist until you eventually get your meeting with the Scottish Minister for Health who you once again have to convince that you don't have a mental illness. If she says yes then you join the waiting list for GRS. And while you wait you guessed it more tests.

And that is just the condensed version of events. And that is why I get defensive with the whole it's a mental disorder thing. I have probably had more tests done to me than 99% of the temp members and therefore I feel safe in saying I am mentally stable unlike some on the site

I thank you for educating me about the process of transitioning in Scotland. I was not aware it was that thorough. I am unaware of other countries and their procedures, I can only comment on Ukraine's - which is quite frankly outdated.

EoFCast will always exist. It might not be on time 100% of the time, but there will always be one.
Also, making an EoFCast episode might be difficult some times, but it's never as difficult as life is.
