the d3-2 chipset

    i have heard a rumur that the d3-2 chipset can be over riden so you can play copyied dvds can anybody shed any light on this and if so how can it be done please thanks

    1) Go to the store to buy a new drive that's not D3-2
    2) Open wii and take out D3-2 Drive
    3) Put in the other drive

    ... Or you could just get an USB loader [​IMG]
    uLoader will read backups from an external DVD reader [​IMG]

    I heard the sky was falling and that SM 5.0 has mario banging toad OUT in the background if u press ab12ab. So it HAS to be true

    Is it possible to play Gamecube backups from an external DVD drive this way?

    thanks i have an external dvd reader in the attic didnt know that would work cheers

    thanks i have found a external dvd reader on ebay for the pc will this work on my wii
