The contents of my sd card doesn't show on my 3ds

So I was managing some files on my sd card on my pc but it suddenly needed to be formatted. Luckily I made a back up of my files at an earlier date. I had a new 128 gb sd card, so I used that instead of the one I used previosly (a 64gb).

I copied the back up to my sd card and place it into 3ds but nothing is showing up aside from the default apps. All the homebrew apps and my games are gone despite the files being in the sd card.

How do I fix this? I can still use luma/gm9.

Before I formatted, no. Now I'm moving my backup files to the formatted old sd to see if it works

What would you recommend to format it with? I used guiformat and the default settings.

guiformat is the perfect tool. Maybe you should check if your card is a fake. and the integrity of the data. did you bought it online?
