Gaming The Binding of Isaac :Rebirth releases on the 23. July for the N3DS

Today Nicalis confirmed, that The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for Wii U, New 3DS and Xbox One will launch on the 23 of July in North America.

They didn't mentioned an european release date, so, as always, europeans will (probaply) get the game much later or simply not

That is an interresting title, I played the old one on pc. Sadly it is only for n3ds, so no rebirth for me

(I could play it on wii u or pc, but I would only play it while i'm away )

it is odd indeed, if you use the cpp the controls would fine
but since its n3ds only I really can't see how its going to be any good with the c-stick
oh well I will play the better portable version on vita instead

This is awesome news if not simply for the fact that Nintendo has finally decided to allow TBoI to come to their consoles despite their policy on religious content.

It's only on the N3DS due to the extra horsepower required to run the game. Nicalis said they went through a lot of testing and they could not make the framerate stable enough on the regular 3DS. I don't think it's a control issue.

Well, I will try to play the game first on my Gateway old 3DS, because my New 3ds hasn't got a Gateway firmware and its Europe region, so I have to wait 1-5 Months longer.......

there is literally no reason this game could not run on an O3ds

so this confirms our worst fears nintendo are just going make games N3ds "excusive" just to sell systems that offer absolutely no new technical benefit of the faster CPU and new hardware

boi is a niche title too, doesnt make sense to only keep it on n3ds unless nintendo is giving them a nice pay day to keep it on there only
or the port is so poorly coded it barely runs decently on the n3ds

Honestly if Nicalis wanted to put in the extra few months required of optimization they probably could have, but they're a relatively small publisher and it probably would not be profitable to take that time.
