I know there's been a lot of threads on this subject, but I need help.

''Dear TB:RB Fans, I've been informed there is a way to get all of DLC songs on to an actual Wii system! I haven't tried it yet, but will be looking forward to it. Credits go to Mitchell Watson: https://www.youtube.com/user/iOS6Geek and Gibran Pedraza: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrGibran1122 Following steps as I understand them. If I make a mistake, please let me know: "on the usb loader gx there is a feature that can dump the nand files on to sd card, then install the wad on the feature emunand wad manager, next in the loader configuration put the emunand option "partial" ,I dont know if the vWii suports emunand or can install the usb loader"

I followed those steps and it didn't work :// I'm guessing it's the IOS that is incorrect (i've put 250, since USB Loader GX is asking me to take a d2x cIos i just chose one randomly). I'm pretty much a noob at this so if someone could help me I would be really grateful :) ). EDIT : I've installed 249 d2x cIos, the game started and after loading it said ''Unable to use the SD Card. SD Card mode disabled.'' The game still worked but no additional content. When I used 250, it said ''The additional content will be stored on SD Card.'' or something like that.

Could someone help me please?

Note : I'm using a 64 Go micro SD Card, Sandisk, in an adapter if that can helps.

I'm gonna try doing it in Dolphin... but I would prefer playing on a real Wii system. So I tried uninstalling the wad file and re installing it, loaded the game on IOS 250 because in 249 it says ''Unable to use the item inserted into the SD Card Slot. SD Card mode disabled.''. In 250 it says ''The additional content will be stored into the SD Card. SD Card mode activated.''. The game worked, but no dlc songs. I use a disc copy of the game, and trying to install it on my USB stick worked, but USB Loader GX crashed at 100 %. And the game is unplayable. Please I would really like to get some help.

Hello.:)

I´m not quite sure, but all the tutorials i´ve seen are for the DLCs to work in the Dolphin Emulator (Wii/Gamecube Emulator for PC).

Are you able to post or send me a link to these tutorials please? I've done it before, but to my understanding some DLC songs are corrupted and don't show (e.g. Abbey Road album)

Update on the situation.

I have been able to load the DLC once with the digital copy of the game. I was so happy! First I wanted to try an Abbey Road song : The game softlocks into the loading screen. I turn it off, and repeat the process. The game still works. Played ''The Word'', worked flawlessly, until I end the song, and click on ''Continue''. The game is stuck on the ''Saving'' screen ; not freezed : but stuck. I power off my Wii, and try again. I start in in USBLoaderGx with the same settings : Emunand : Partial, Emunand location : usb1/nand/. Black screen. I power it off, and try again with the Emunand set to full. Black screen. A few tries later messing with the IOS (reinstalling D2X V10, loading the game with a specific IOS), still Black Screen but even worse : the next try : USBLoaderGX doesn't recognize my USB Key anymore. I plug it into my computer : and it says that the USB key is corrupted. Now I'm looking for help here.

Game loading settings

Emunand set to Partial
Emunand location : USB1/NAND/
Ios : -1
Video : Use global

USB Details

Lexar, 32GB, FAT32

Beatles Rock Band details
Loading from ISO on Usb key.
DLC downloaded from

I formated the USB Key, then reput the NAND folder in it, and I'm currently putting the game in it.

Any help is welcome!

Just read this thread. I didn't realize that it was so easy to add DLC to The Beatles: Rock Band! Perhaps this is the key to solving the mystery of RB2 customs. I do have the DLC downloading software, but I refuse to distribute it as most of the content is copyrighted.

This wasn't written for APPs, but it may help with some of your problems: https://gitlab.com/HarvHouHacker/rock-band-customs/snippets/1887560

Since you can download the songs, you may want to use an SD card and wadpacker.exe from one of the DLC Packers in my GitLab Repo to make BIN files that you can put there. As soon as I can, I'll release the NTSC/PAL versions of the packers, so that it can be easier to add to The Beatles.

Thank you for your report! The fact that you came this far shows that it can be done to this game. Now all I need to do is try it myself.

I tried again with another USB key. Turns out mine was corrupted. Everything loads fine, the scores I had from the NAND backup are still the old ones, but DLC does not show. My settings are :

Nand Emulation : Partial
Nand Path : sd/nand
Game IOS : Use Global (I've also tried with 249.)

I reinstalled the DLC wad to the emuNAND with ShowMiiWads, and they installed fine. Should I unistall the dlc and try again? I even tried with Rock Band 3 DLC wads, and could not get them to work too. I think the Rock Band 3 DLC wads might be corrupted, because when I install them with ShowMiiWads a pop up appears saying Error, but they still appear as downloaded.

Any tips?

Hello.:)

Maybe this helps you:
Please can you check your IOS249 ? It should looks like this:

IOS249[56] (rev 21, Info: d2x-v10beta52)
: Trucha Bug, NAND Zugriff, USB 2.0

You can also try IOS250 too:

IOS250[57] (rev 21, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Zugriff, USB 2.0

Good Luck.
Thank you.:)

Some DLC is finicky. It may be due to the Wii Shop not appearing. However, please check these Snippets of mine out before we diagnose the problem further:

https://gitlab.com/HarvHouHacker/rock-band-customs/snippets/1887560
https://gitlab.com/HarvHouHacker/rock-band-customs/snippets/1844058

They are Rock Band 3 specific, but for DLC not showing up at all, those sections are pretty much universal. As I run into more problems, I'll adjust it as needed.

Thanks. Both IOS were wrong on my Wii. I downloaded the ones you've mentioned, and got the same results while loading each IOS seperately. ''Cannot use item inserted into SD Card slot. Disabling SD Card mode.'' I tried again with -1 IOS (Use global), and got the same result. I really don't know what happened. I might load a PimpMyWii check on it. Thanks again :)

Thanks for the help! So are you saying it doesn't support SD cards with more than 2 Go? On TB:RB I once succeed to get those DLC, and in Rock Band 3 I never did so that might be the problem. Rock Band 3 loaded fine with the wads but the music store froze. When I click on your link on that subject nothing shows up.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Still does the same thing, just tried it out. Thanks a lot for your help again ; I really want those DLCs.

Strange,I have tried it a moment ago with these settings.

It is maybe the 2 GB "Limit" but I think also the Brand of the SD Card.:(
Some Users has Cards up to 128 GB and more (microSD Cards with Adapters) BUT then the Troubles starts although with Applications no longer working correctly.

Sorry, the wiki has drastically changed since that link was posted. Here's the new link about the freezing: https://gitlab.com/HarvHouHacker/ro...ubleshooting/The-Rock-Band-3-Store-Freeze-Bug

I'm saying that if you are on System Menu 4.0 or earlier, SDHC cards are not supported, whereas they are in 4.1 (I think), 4.2, and 4.3 (the latest version). If you are on 4.0 or earlier, you can try it, but it might not work.

You say you succeeded to get TB:RB DLC? How?

It's probably my SD, It's a 32 GB Lexar Platinum SDHC. I have a 1GB one but I don't think I could run the nand on it. I could maybe try with the USB stick?

You could use "The Ghost" To modify Aerosmith or III on the wii iirc and add your own songs
There are a ton of setlists will a lot of songs here
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...3tzciOfruhUVePENKc01o/htmlview?sle=true#gid=0
including the guitar hero and rock band games
Woah didn't knew about that one thanks I will definitely check it out!

I am running on System Menu 4.3 I believe. I got the wad from B2b's video which consisted of getting the DLC on Dolphin. Somebody later explained that he got it to work on the Wii so I tried it.
I made many many tests and got it to work one time. The NAND was on my USB and I didn't knew if I installed the wad on it or not. I did, the game ran fine, the DLC all showed up. I don't remember my exact configuration, but I believe I was running the game on IOS 249, with Full emuNAND. I'm not really sure.

I played a song, chose ''New Song'', and the game stucked at the loading screen. I rebooted my Wii and ran the game again. Everything was there, so I chose an Abbey Road song, and the game also stucked at the song loading screen.
