I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but it might be an idea to disable the download button for a skin for a while after it's been downloaded or otherwise prevent a user from incrementing the download value of a theme. You might be able to get away with storing the last 5-10 downloads in a cookie client-side and disabling the button if its value is in the cookie.
Regardless of the implementation (as I'm sure you have a better handle on it than I do) at the moment it is possible to inflate download numbers by spamming the download button. It is not TOO high priority, but it is still something that is open to potential abuse given that you have a most downloaded search function.

No, please do it IP-based! I sometimes screw up theme copying and have to redownload.
Or just remove download counts. All it does is promote favoritism, which in turn leads to "cheating" as in the discussion that you're having now. On most sites that sort things by popularity (downloads), the things that reach the top early in the site's lifespan generally stay there forever, because people start sorting the lists by "most downloaded" and download those, giving them an even larger boost over everything else, while 90% of the content gets ignored.

I have a little question, maybe i sound stupid. I created a theme based on a visual novel themed around gay romance (like Morenatsu) but the theme don't contain anything i can considere NSFW i contain only a kiss scene from two protagonist. I have to still marked NSFW or no? I asked before uploading becouse i want to be sure.

Yea, mobile optimization is an important part of our site, so this will definitely be worked on.Thanks for RSS and API! I'll be definitely using them! On a side note, the new Homebrew Loader-ish header looks cool on PC, but on mobile it's wasted space for me. Would it be possible to remove it? Not necessary, just a suggestion!

We eventually plan on making users tick a setting that lets them see NSFW or no NSFW themes at all, this is currently the best way we think about going over it.

Where's the lost password reset? I don't see it anywhere. And when I hit the report button on a theme, is anything supposed to happen? It just takes me back to the home page. How do I know if it worked?

CHMM2 release is near and 3DSThemes.com still not have support for info.lua files (which will be deprecated).
CHMM2 will need an SMDH file for Author, Description, Title and icon support.
Just wanted to report this if 3dsthemes.com devs want to add this feature prematurely to make fully compatible all future themes.
SMDH file won't be indispensable but recommended a lot.
