still very boring for n3ds users waiting for GW release
Yeah, but give it a few months once the N3DS releases in America and a solution is coming very soon. This is freaking amazing for regular 3DS users right now
yeah especially the downgrade feature, it was very nice. There's still a few kinks to work out (ex GW 6.x encryption issue, no support for 3dsx) but overall it's pretty good
once n3ds support comes out my life will finally be complete

Did you mean to say "No support for 3DS XL"? Cause Gateway does support 3DS XL
well tbh i don't think the 3ds scene will be "as good"ad the nds scene. Mainly because the homebrew. The nds had more developers which released a lot of nice homebrew. And somehow i don't see that much great homebrew being released in the 3d scene.
Yeah that is definitely true. And i am happy to see that more homebrew is coming. And i would love to be proven wrongWell I think down the road this year, the Gateway team will do something as far as the homebrew. They are certainly on top of it and I really applaud them for doing something for us that we've been waiting nearly four years for us to have a proper 3DS flashcart
All Time High? Nah, I think it'll keep growing. People are only just now really cracking open the 3DS. We still don't know the full potential of the console, cheats and rom translations are in their infancy, New 3DS isn't even released in North America (Or publicly "hacked" to a reasonable degree) More 3DS owners will likely appear over time, hopefully meaning more interest in developing homebrew and exploits. So while I will agree that the scene has expanded greatly in recent history there's still a long way to go before the all time high.
I think you might be in the wrong place.why wait for 3ds gateway, if we have sky3ds for n3ds(their price almost the same now). waiting for $20 clone card. or new CFW

So 4 years in (what is the projected lifetime, it is surely pat the halfway mark now), a pitiful library of games for said 4 years, not much homebrew potentially both in general (any number of more powerful and easy to program devices), some middle of the road hacks and facing a lack of homebrew devs (many had evaporated before the DS was done).
*busts out the party poppers and party whistles*
^pretty much this. Also If you consider that the New 3DS is the *new* DSi, the 3DS community or interest is not going to grow further.
