DS of the year, not THE game of the year. I don't know what to think of it being the best DS game. It certainly outdid Chrono Trigger as a remake though. They improved EVERYTHING possible in the game. They redid the graphics, added a ton of new modes, and just did great. Chrono Trigger is the better game probably, but the remake had very lean additions.

Disagree. I have been a subscriber to NP for years, and while I own a n64, GCN, wii, DSL, GBC, and GBA, I also have an XBOX and an XBOX 360, which probably get more use than the rest combined. I am not a fanboy, and I still enjoy reading NP. I have noticed, however, that since FUTUREUS took over NP it has been aimed more at kids, which is unfortunate. I still enjoy getting my Nintendo gaming news in print format, though, and I will most likely continue my subscription.

I voted for these a while ago, and nearly none of my choices won

For the 2nd best RPG category, this is huge laugh in front of my face! FFIV should of won that not Sonic Chronicles; I hope Bioware's sequel for the mediocre Sonic RPG will get a upgrade big time! What a joke, Sonic Chronicles in second place and not Chrono Trigger or FFIV!!

It depends how you define good graphics. If you look at the poly count then no. If you hate seeing pixels then also no. But the game just had a very good art direction and a city that felt alive because of it. To me this is more important than anything else, so I also thought the game had good graphics.
