EVERYTHING that Nintendo has done has been because they can make money from it, that includes their "family" perspective. Did you know that Nintendo owned "love" hotels in the 1900's? Hotels where you can a quick shag and go.

Intellivision's pseudo-controller was shit, as were all others that came before the Famicom. The inventor of the real game controller, with a D-pad, was Gunpei Yokoi.

Just because you improve on something doesn't mean you invented it. If that was the case, The title of inventor of the automobile would be shifted around many times a year.

Well, ninty sony and microsoft all do the same thing nowadays... Rip each other and customers off...

But I do think nintendo are great for taking risks in the video game world, when all others thought it would fail... the only downside are the fails they did make... *Virtual Boy and Power Glove*

Nintendo have made some pretty awesome stuff, but don't be fooled, it's all for money. Besides, so much of the wii is full of suck and fail. My wii remote broke, so I had to buy a new one, even though the only game I ever play is Smash Bros. Brawl....for which I use a gamecube controller. That's right, Nintendo charged me £25 to START my damn console.

I remember the N64 Controller. The made you destroy the joystick with those Mario Party minigames, where you had to spin it around

Still it looks like Nintendo is trying to be more userfriendly now, so...

You also get to play online with people, and that's better than what any other game company out there has.

They only have other online things, and that's why I like Nintendo more.
