Their is no proof it's an R4 clone, it could be one of them DSvision carts.
Those are side loaded and in black not white IIRC.
I think the DSVision is black and has a side-loaded SD slot
edit: Damn too late
Could be a DSTT.
Oops, but why refer to all DS flashcarts as "R4 cards"?
Also it could be a Cyclo.
its not the BLACK r4 for sure
most likely a SCDS or DSTT
ol connor boy...
that is the reason why you see shit loads of r4 clones
looks like it
Looks like an SCDS1 to me.
So they didn't show what game she was playing for fear of copyright infringement and instead showed the flash cart, well done
They were going for a realistic portrayal.
Hahaha! Should've shopped the MicroSD loader.
Also, looks like a CycloDS
Doesnt matter about what card it is... its a flashcard either way xD
You will probably find most developers are using flash cards for convenience sake. Using flash carts does not necessarily infer pirating. Same goes for loaders and homebrew on other systems.
Edit: I wouldn't be supprised if most of Ninty's employees and developers are using flash carts.
how else would devs test that their anti piracy works?
Nope, the memory card's on the wrong side.
Important thread is important. Wasn't there a thread a while back about some TV show having a DS with a flashcart in it? Also, I remember seeing an ad for a DS carry case that had a flashcart where the game paks were supposed to go. The whole flashcart thing is really getting out of hand when they start showing up in all sorts of ads and TV shows.
i made a thread a few years ago with a scan of the cardboard insert from my ds lite case that had a pic of a superkey and a 3in1.. maybe you are thinking of that?
It's certainly not an R4, the microSD slot is on the opposite side.
This reminds me of the time that Gamestop advert with a DS gamecase holding an R4, clearly visible.
Yep, that's the one.
I think the TV show was "modern family"
its the kid in the bottom left hand corner who had a flashcart
