A beautiful afternoon of football topped off with a lovely walk in the park for arsenal...certainly puts them in a strong place to contend for the league.

Oh no! I wish I could share your enthusiasm but the return of football signals the return of the fucktard on the floor below me screaming, yelling, swearing and singing the entire building down. The soundproofing here is awful, I'm going to cry!

If you mean, high school football, I agree! It's good to be back. Pumping iron all summer to get ready again. I

He means football, as in the game where you kick the ball around with your feet.

I think it's pretty stupid, but it's not as stupid as playing a girly version of rugby that uses mostly your arms and calling that football.

I support Swansea City. We've lost our manager and star striker. Two games, two defeats. I think it could be a long hard season.

Yeah, I'm so glad too soccer is back!
It started 3 weeks ago in Belgium, and my team (Club Brugge) is doing quite good.
Hopefully Manchester United wins the League for the 4th time in a row! Although I don't see that happen, now CR and Tevez is gone....
I think the best chance to win it is for Arsenal or Chelsea.

    Also, for more soccer chatter:

    PS: Vermaelen for the win!

Argh, I HATE football/soccer/whatever you like to call it. What's so fun about kicking a ball around? And I don't get the game. You keep running after your 'opponent' to get the ball and when you finally get it you have to kick it away! ([IMG])

    Gotta love it eh!

For me, it's the passion of the fans, the incredible moves of Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, and the power which some players have.
What always amazes me is that it looks so simple on TV, but when you try it yourself, it's so hard!
I watch a lot of movies from famous footballers, and it's just amazing how simple they make it look. The technique of some players is just amazing, and something I'm really jealous of.

Cricket is a sober upper class Brit game, it's boring and most of the world doesn't give a fuck about it.
