lol

I think this one is a little better and it's free.

But, hey, I could be biased. :P

Interestingly enough, I think the classic version you purchased probably inspired the homebrew version that I posted, but I'm sure the author of the homebrew would never admit that. :D

i put in more hours to this and tetris DX than any other versions. except for this PC based Tetris client called 'Tetrinet' which was a blast back in the day. not sure why they didn't just release the DX version, at least it has colours, but glad to put down a few bucks to have this on tap. and it has the best music :D

Online play for tetris? How would that work? Once I get past level 15 I need quiet and focus, the exact opposite of a social thing...

Does it not save high scores like the original GB version? If so, then boo!

I really loved this when it came out, and can remember hallucinating blocks while driving my first car back in high school. Later versions have tons of bells and whistles, but they don't have the tight controls, the great feel of this one.

With the exception of GBC Tetris DX. That's the definitive version.

it doesn't. but you can do a restore state thing now with VC, so in reality, it does!

I saw this and I want it so bad. I need an eShop card nao. That way, I don't need to lug around a gameboy, batteries, and a copy of Tetris when I want to play it!

Yes, I do have the original GB version.

Because you totally aren't the creator of this homebrew :P
It IS better than the original Tetris, though.

This Gamboy version is still my favorite Tetris of all time. I still remember opening my Gameboy for Christmas in 1989, and playing Tetris for hours through those earbuds that came with the system. Nothing beats Dot Matrix With Stereo Sound :P

Price?

I have $20, what should I get.. just got a 3DS yesterday
Get Pushmo -- the best eShop game. I'm one of the many people who will tell you this.
$6.99

Pushmo is actually great, I checked it out and got it yesterday :)

So now I have Tetris, Zelda DX and Pusho from the eshop. I think next will be Shantae (pricey!) and Mighty Switch Force when I want to invest in some more downloadable titles :)

Good times on the 3DS continue :)
