Well for all those in the UK- pack of 50 tecso own brand DVD-Rs cost about 6 quid I think when I got them.

Burnt at 8x speed - fastest my old NEC drive will burn at.

Popped it into the Wii and worked first time. No DREs or anything.

WiiKey and Tesco DVDs FTW!

You can scan the burned DVDs for PI/PO errors using K-Probe, DVDInfoPro, or some other utilities to see how good the media really is.

Yup, I've had cheap media that looked good at first and then quit being readable months down the road, or would only work in select players, etc. I won't gamble on it anymore, verbatim or TY for me only.
