Forspoken is an upcoming action-RPG from Luminous Productions and Square Enix that blends magic-fuelled combat and parkour-styled exploration. A brand-new, 10-minutes trailer was aired today to showcase the gameplay:

This game was made from the same team who ruined Final Fantasy XV, I wasn't expecting too much since the day they announced it, and after I saw the trailer I was sure this is going to be another garbage just like FFXV.

Reminds me of skyrim or that sort of game, but with a focus on magic and making getting around "fun" like spiderman "zooming around the city". We'll see how interesting the actual game is, but it certainly looks like it has a lot of potential.

The combat looks awful. It runs and looks like shit but that's at least something they can fix prior to launch.

The equipment screen gave me heavy PTSD flashbacks to trash games like Babylon's Fall
