The thing is it seems by no means clear that any information has been taken, census wise. Although that could be down to my misreading the rather shoddy journalistic offerings.

No, Essex the county in South East England.

Well that is why you'll get fined and those who actually give a shit about their country and aren't totally paranoid conspiracy theorists will probably be in line for compensation if this is true.

What arrogant tosh. I've offered no conspiracy theories, so get you facts straight. And I do happen to care about this country. But I won't blindly do something because the government tell me to.

No, you'll happily not do something that would help fairly distribute resources because you can't be arsed.

EDIT: You could have chosen not to answer the bs questions such as ethnicity and religion and still filled out the rest.

EDIT the second: I bet you'll be the first to complain when your kids have to travel miles upon miles to school, can't find a dentist, or the local hospital gets closed down.

I disagree. Does the census have so much "fairly distribute" power that it can prevent the NHS from being privatized in the near future? It is hardly paranoia to be critical of a state exercise.

Oh, and as for the lack of dentists, it seems that
QUOTE
the decline of NHS dentistry goes back to 1992, when the Conservative government sharply cut fees, leading to a large number of dentists taking on more private work, especially in more affluent areas. Many patients were told their dentists were no longer on the NHS, leaving them with the stark choice of either going private or going without. http://www.wsws.org/articles/2008/feb2008/dent-f25.shtml
Lack of patriotism didn't cause that. And if you have a problem with the WSWS, I can provide a bourgeois source that basically says the same thing.

Paranoid or just doesn't care. I think it was obvious to anyone who can read it was an or/and option.

Well the NHS won't be privatised any time in the near future. And while the 1992 f**k up was the cause, they have being upping funding for the last 3-4 years. How are they meant to work out how to fairly divvy up the existing and extra funding to areas that need it the most without knowing the amount of people in an area and the level of economic assistance needed in those areas? Same for schools and hospitals.

Like I said they could have chosen what information they didn't want to give, the rest would still have helped. And saying you care doesn't matter, actions do.

Update 2: Now the BBC are saying that the 19-year-old hacker arrested has been named by locals of Wickford as Ryan Cleary. The same Ryan Cleary who was embroiled in a spat with Anonymous over their “leadership”structure and operations against Sony. It was thought Cleary had created a splinter group from Anonymous but whether or not that group is Lulzsec isn’t known.

And still no evidence it has been hacked in any case. The BBC quoted his mum as saying " he had been obsessed with computers since he was 12 and added: "Computers were his world." Personally I think she should go for the Aspergers defence.

This is an off topic reply to you, cwstjdenobs, so I will place in it spoiler tags.

Obvious only to you, maybe. I just saw a joke with a morbid spin. Even if it wasn't, that doesn't give you the logical standing of accusing this poster of Britain's health problems. The census is not, as I said before, the great equalizer in social affairs. That pressure, of lack thereof, is given to the capitalist cronies of the British state.

You must be joking yourself. Any cursory Google search of "NHS Britain cuts funding" will show a myriad of articles which document how the NHS has faced funding and workforce cuts, with the worst of it appearing in Wales. Any "upping funding" pales in comparison to the campaign for privatization that is put forth by the coalition government. As to how they "work out how to fairly divvy up", that is an illusion. The policy of the British state has been capitulation after capitulation to the advocates of privatization and big business, which accounts for the sordid state of the NHS. It is fairly easy to look up in Google if you are specific in your wording.

I agree that actions speak quite a great deal louder than sentiment. And in this case, the actions of the coalition government in Britain speak far louder than Miss Panda's disdain for the census. You are creating a straw man in this poster, when the bogeyman is dancing in your own parliament.

Stay on topic guys.

Discussions about the NHS and stuff like that have no place in this news article. If I see any other off topic posts they will be trashed.

Aren't LulzSec like rouge anons or something, I mean regular anon's don't usually go to this extent from what I've read.

Not that I can really support either party, but it's still a thought that popped into my mind.

I don't mind if they all get caught, the only people who like LulzSec seem to be the ones who don't want to be hacked back.. Kind of like people who worship Satan. lol

The highest compliment that can perhaps be paid to Anonymous (pending further research) and Lulzsec is that they are hacker guerillas with an unpredictable, anarchist mentality.

If your census is anything like the census here, they like to ask questions that they really don't need to know. Like CC numbers, bank accounts, how many wives have you had, and may other personal things. My parents just filled out where they lived, how many lived with them, ages, and social security numbers.

On-Topic: If they had a member corralled, they would tell us. Until a member is indeed caught, then we should continue to watch the Twitter.

Again, that is a shit comparison. Do you even read some of the things you post?! How does people who worship Satan have anything to do with people who support Lulzsec?

Has it ever came to mind that you're slow. XD It relates because it has nothing to do with legal stuff. People worship Satan so they don't have to suffer in hell, people worship LulzSec thinking that if they become friends, they wont be hacked. And I'm sorry, you're not slow, I just came off as a douche.

Really? I'm not even going to get into this with you. PM me if you want to continue this.

@Topic: This guy just runs the IRC. Not a big loss, because I'm sure they have many people wanting the same position.

How appropriate.

It's fine, our ideas just differ. Anyways, I still hope they catch the rest of these guys. And I changed my avatar to Stan for you.
